Under the Rotary International umbrella, since 1984, the Crystal City-Pentagon Rotary Club is a dedicated group of diverse professionals committed to civic service to the Arlington community and the world at large.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and the advancement of international understanding goodwill and peace in the world through the ideals of service.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Our club’s main objective is to be successful in four avenues of service – community, vocation, international, and club service. Not only do we raise funds for and contribute to world-wide initiatives, we conduct and complete local and international service projects.

Members make all this possible. Donations and sponsorships are always welcome, but it is your wisdom, time, and sweat that will make a Rotary Club. We encourage you to come to a Rotary meeting and see for yourself.
