Our club is proud to present the Annual Crystal City Pentagon Golf Classic. This Annual Golf Classic is our Foundation’s only fundraising event of the year and we sincerely appreciate the long standing support of our community partners, advertisers, hole sponsors, and players in making this tournament a successful fund raiser and an enjoyable community event.
Our Rotary club is part of a worldwide organization: there are more than 30,000 clubs in 163 countries. The motto of Rotary International is "Service Above Self," and the vision of our club is to be the example of service in our community and beyond.
Proceeds raised from the golf tournament have gone to support wounded warriors, disaster relief for Haiti, help the homeless transition from the shelter to subsidized housing, scholarships for High School Students, electricity for medical clinics and schools in Sub-Saharan Africa, vaccines for polio eradication, clean water and mobile medical clinic in Ecaudor, community renovation, and adopting a middle school in Arlington, VA.
